When Fabricio Coronel from Hacienda la Florida recommended this Gesha from their neighbors, we did not hesitate to buy it... and we are glad we didn’t, as it turned out to be an extraordinary, nuanced coffee we couldn't have found otherwise.
We taste lemon tea with a hint of blueberry (blueberry skin to be precise), beautiful florals and citrics.
About the producer
Café Doña Julita is a family business established in 1950 by local entrepreneurs Victor Rengel and Maria Castillo who acquired Finca Plaza Vieja, they quickly became known for their excellent coffee and hospitality.
Their legacy is continued by their daughter, Doña Julia Victoria and her husband, Don Angelito Rentería. Through nearly four decades of commitment, they helped position the coffee in the national market while contributing to the development of the Vilcabamba community and surrounding areas
